With more than 60 years experience in the industry we are proud to provide exceptional servicing and repairs to agricultural machinery and trucks throughout the Moree, Inverell, Wee Waa, Gunnedah, Tamworth, Walgett and Goondiwindi regions.

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced, trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to repair and service agricultural machinery, trucks and construction equipment in our Tamworth, NSW dealership.

Our customers rely on our service department to keep their machinery and heavy vehicles in operation when it matters most. So, the ideal candidate will be committed to carrying out all tasks with precision and purpose, both in the field or in house.

You will be supported in your work by dedicated parts interpreters and equally qualified technicians. You will also be able to work unsupervised when necessary.

Product specific training will ensure you keep abreast of advancements and current trends in the agricultural & automotive industry.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate for this role will be a trade qualified diesel mechanic and come with a wealth of knowledge and experience. You will have demonstrated:

  • experience in either hydraulics and/or electrics
  • in-depth diagnostic ability, and experience with using electronic diagnosis tools
  • exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • experience working with Case IH, Case Construction and Isuzu Trucks will be looked on favourably, but is not essential

A current drivers licence is essential. A forklift licence will be an advantage.
